(04/21/14) Stephen R. Fish, Ph.D., 67, of Cranston passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Arlene M. (Nardone) Fish for 40 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Clifford E. and Marion L. (Benson) Fish. Dr. Fish was the president of Nesoft Corp. until his retirement in 2011. He taught at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Campbellsville University in Kentucky. He was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School and received his Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. from U.R.I. Dr. Fish was a communicant of All Saints Episcopal Church in Warwick. He was a Ham Radio Operator \"W1BG\" since 1960. He was the devoted father of Stephen E. Fish of Cranston. Loving son-in-law of Gladys A. Nardone of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Jeffrey E. Fish. His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 am in All Saints Episcopal Church, 111 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. (04/22/14) BEAUCHAINE, Loretta C. (Messier), 97, formerly of Nolan Street, West Warwick, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Elmer C. Beauchaine. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Xavier and Alexandria (Lebrun) Messier. She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick. Mrs. Beauchaine was a caregiver at the former Ladd School for 25 years before retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of SS. John and James Parish where she was a member of the Union of Prayer, member of the Ladies of St. Anne, the American Association of Retired Persons, Coventry Golden Ages and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by two sons, Gerard Beauchaine of West Warwick and Raymond Beauchaine and his wife Sandra of Coventry; three daughters, Ellen Bassett and her husband John of Hope Mills, NC, Margaret Snow of West Warwick and Linda Fitzgerald and her husband Thomas of West Warwick; a brother, George Messier of Warwick; two sisters, Cecile Noel in NH and Rosa Gamblin in TN; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John, Theodore, Anthony and Rosemary Messier and Marie Hebert. Her funeral will be held Friday, Apr. 25, 2014 at 9 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. Born in Bergenfield, NJ a daughter of the late Vincent and Isabelle (Keating) Coghlan. She was the former wife of Matthew Corricelli of Port St. Lucie, FL. She is survived by her daughter Linda Jones and son-in-law Brian McGinnis, with whom she resided, and her son Paul Corricelli and daughter-in-law Lotus Corricelli of Glendale, CA; siblings Vincent Coghlan Jr., and sister-in-law Karen Coghlan of Jacksonville, FL; Gerard Coghlan and sister-in-law Jean Sterns of Tucson, AZ; Bernice Ward of Greyslake, IL, along with many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved grand-puppies, Pokie, Nickels-Mortimer and Thor. She considered herself fortunate during her lifetime to visit and live in many parts of the United States and abroad, including Germany and France. (04/22/14) Dr. Michael J. Baccari, of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Thursday, April 17th. He was a well-respected physician with a medical career that spanned over 45 years. Dr. Baccari was born on September 29, 1933 in Providence, Rhode Island. He is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Alberta Baccari and his five children: Catherine Mulcahy and her husband Stephen, Michael Baccari and his wife Lily, Daniel Baccari, Esq., Robert Baccari and his wife Jenny, and Brian Baccari and his wife Kate. He was an adored “Poppy” to his 10 grandchildren: Nathan, Stephanie, Mick, Jillian, Trenton, Nicholas, Andrew, Tyler, Mariah, and Julia. He is also survived by a sister, Madeline Colantino of North Providence and a brother, Vincent Baccari of Johnston. He was pre-deceased by two of his brothers, Bernard and John. He also leaves his former spouse, Irene Tanner and her husband Frank. He was a graduate of Providence College and graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He served in the United States Navy as a medical officer. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Rhode Island where he practiced Internal Medicine until his retirement in 2011. Dr. Baccari served as the first Medical Director of Cherry Hill Manor and remained active there for 36 years. He was a member of the National Medical Honor Society, the Rhode Island Medical Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Baccari found great joy in his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially when he could share his favorite hobbies, fishing, gardening and golfing. He loved afternoons relaxing in his yard, reading a book, and watching his fig tree grow in the company of his two dogs. Next to his family, Dr. Baccari’s greatest love was for his patients, many of whom became his life-long friends. His dedication and compassion were admired by all. In his own words, “Medicine was my life”. Calling hours will be on Tuesday April 22nd at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Cranston from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Helen is survived by her sons Richard Cosgrove Busher, Jr. and his wife Marilyn (Andersen) of Seattle, Washington and Francis J. Busher and his wife Deborah (Hageman) of Portsmouth, RI. Her brother Edward LaFramboise, sister Alice Raymond and several nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Busher; sister Cecil Dapsis; brothers Louis LaFramboise, Francis LaFramboise, Albert LaFramboise, Leo LaFramboise and Charles LaFramboise. Helen was self-employed for sixty-five years as a talented and detailed dressmaker. She enjoyed painting and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dogs. Mr Fazio was a Line-Dance instructor before retiring.He was also the former Co-Owner of Mrs. Fazio\'s Homecooking on Elmwood Ave. and previously the owner of Larry\'s Record Shop in Providence. He was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran he flew the B-17bomber and was a 5th ball turret gunner, an avid golfer and a member of the Cranston Country Club. He was the beloved father of Larry G. Fazio of Sherman Oaks CA., Carolyn J. Sanita of FL. and Gail A. Fazio of Cranston. Loving grandfather of 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Betty met her husband in England during World War II, after the war she settled in Pawtucket and the couple married in 1946. Born in Birmingham, England, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Gertrude (Cooper) Harris. Betty resided in Pawtucket until moving to Rumford in 2001, she has resided in Dennisport for the past five years. She was a former member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Pawtucket and a member of the former Overseas Wives Club at the YMCA, Central Falls. Betty leaves her daughter, Karen E. Lawrence of Dennisport and her grandson, Jonathan T. Fontaine of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late George R. and Bernard J. Harris. (04/26/14) Aurele H. “Shorty” Gamache, age 91, beloved husband of 57 years of the late Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Gamache, died Friday, April 25, in Fall River after a brief illness. He was the father of Ronald M. Gamache (wife Cynthia) of Somerset, MA, Richard E. Gamache (late wife Kirsten) of Barrington, RI, John M. Gamache of Bristol, RI., Marian Desrochers of New Hampshire, and the late Ann Marie Barrow (husband Scott Barrow) of Dartmouth, MA. Mr. Gamache is survived by 8 grandchildren, Sally Gamache, Emily Gamache, Gwenyth Barrow, Patrick Barrow, Daniel Gamache, Matthew Gamache, Benjamin Gamache and Timothy Gamache. The brother of Andre Gamache of Fall River, and the late Mercedes Gamache, Maurice Gamache, Mariette Fournier, Reverend Flavius Gamache, Julian Gamache, Reverend Lionel Gamache and Robert Gamache, he was son of the late Henri and Olivine (Levasseur) Gamache and leaves many nieces and nephews. A communicant of St. Anne’s Church, he was a 1941 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School. He lived in Fall River all of his life. One of six brothers who served their country during World War II, Mr. Gamache was a member of the 66th Black Panther Division, stationed in Lorient, France, and other parts of Europe. He was a French interpreter and radio operator. He received numerous medals including the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Bronze Star, American Defense, Army Commendation, American Campaign, European Theater, Victory, Occupation, Army Reserves, and Army Component Medals. In 2011, Mr. Gamache was decorated with the National Order of the Legion of Honour by the Government of France, for his role in the liberation of France during World War II. Mr. Gamache remained in the Army Reserve for 40 years, retiring at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer - 4. Mr. Gamache was a toll test operator for New England Telephone in New Bedford, MA, for 37 years. His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 30, at 10 A.M. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 South Main St., Fall River, with a Mass at St. Anne’s Church at 11 A.M. (04/26/14) Warwick - Joseph Morsilli, 74, of Diamond Hill Road, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Paula C. (Cummings) Morsilli with whom he celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on October 3, 2013. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Antonio H. and Marion (Garzilli) Morsilli. He served in the United States Navy. He was a cement mason for Local 40. For twenty years he worked as a correctional officer employed by the State of Rhode Island working at all securities of the ACI. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society, Cranston and for several years he was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels. Joe’s family was very important to him and so he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by three children: Valerie Armstrong & her companion Jim Silvia of Warwick, Donna Calise & her husband Steven of West Greenwich and Jennifer Moody & her husband John of North Kingstown; one sister: Lois Mahoney of Cranston; one brother: Dennis Morsilli of Lincoln; four granddaughters: Samantha Armstrong, Marisa, Adriana & Nichole Calise and one grandson: Steven Calise. He was the father of the late Matthew D. Morsilli. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 9 AM from Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. (04/26/14) Warwick - George F. Snow, Jr., 87, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jean S. (Burlingame) Snow with whom he celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on September 10, 2013. Born in Providence, the son of the late George F. Snow Sr. and the late Beatrice W. (Berry) Snow, he served in the United States Navy during WWII. George loved his work as a tool designer at Leesona Corporation where he worked for 25 years. He was later employed for 10 years at EG&G Sealol. George loved Mustangs & classic cars and his weekly lunch at Marchetti\'s Restaurant in Cranston with his longtime friend, Ed Finnegan. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He enjoyed spending time on his boat salt water fishing. His family remembers him as a witty man who was very handy at fixing things. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons: Stephen G. Snow & his wife Audrey and Raymond E. Snow all of Warwick; one daughter: Carol A. Brown & her husband Bill of Kingston, NH and one grandson Daniel McCombs of Epping, NH. A private committal service followed by burial with military honors will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter on Tuesday. Please omit flowers. (04/27/14) Pawtucket – Savino P. Salerno, 95, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Cecile (L’Abbe) Salerno. Raised in Providence, a son of the late Biagio and Carmella (DeBonis) Salerno, he resided in Warwick before moving to Pawtucket in 1970. Savino was a graduate of the University of RI and worked for the Leesona Corp. for 30 years. As a member of our “Greatest Generation” he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Thomas Jefferson and was an active participant in the Normandy Invasion of June 6, 1944. He was proud of his Country, Naval Service and Italian Heritage. Savino loved dancing, golf, public speaking, and was a member of the East Bay and Lincoln Toastmasters Clubs and the Gray Panthers. He leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rita (Michael) Salerno; four nephews, Robert, Joseph, William and John Salerno; three nieces, Patricia Oliver, Kathy Ford and Michelle Moynihan and his great friends, Georgina and Mike Morris and Ray Skinner. He was the brother of the late Antonio, Rose, Mary, Giro, Joseph and Michael Salerno. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. (04/28/14) Pawtucket – Lois J. (Wright) Kelliher, 76, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel W. Kelliher, Sr. Born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Robert Wright and Doris Grace (Welch) Perreault, she resided in Pawtucket for the past forty-one years. She leaves a son, James W. Kelliher of Pawtucket; a daughter, Gail L. Manchester and her husband, Glen of Morrill, Maine; two brothers, Everett Richard Wright and his wife, Judith of Pawtucket and Norman “Butch” Perreault and his wife, Margaret “Cookie” of North Providence; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery.
