He participated in several Special Olympics events, enjoyed Western Music and listening to the Lone Ranger and cherished spending time with his family, friends at the Co-op and his caregivers. He leaves a sister Nancy Ferreira (Richard Motta) and a brother Edward Savage, all of Swansea and nieces and nephews, Ronald, Elizabeth, Sheila, Shelley and Edward and his godchild Ashley His funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. (02/11/13) Frank M. Angeloro, 86, formerly of Warwick passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. He was the devoted husband of C. Elizabeth (Martens) Angeloro for 63 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Pietrotuano) Angeloro. An Insurance Executive, Mr. Angeloro was the President of Frank B. Hall, Inc. in Providence until his retirement in 1987. He served in The United States Army during WW II. He was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Columbia University, a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Warwick and a proud volunteer for the Salvation Army. Mr. Angeloro was an avid golfer and was a member of Quidnessett Country Club since 1960, a member of the Aurora Civic Association and the former Turks Head Club. He was a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. He was the beloved father of Charles W. Angeloro, Sr. and his wife Susan of Saunderstown, Frank M. Angeloro and his wife Paula of North Kingstown and Caren A. Santos and her husband Gary of West Warwick. Loving grandfather of four and great-grandfather of three. He was the brother of the late Vincent Angeloro and father-in-law of the late Janice J. Angeloro. His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Con-celebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. (02/11/13) Warwick – William Forest Paquin, Esq., died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Tierney) Paquin for forty-eight years. He was born on March 25, 1936, the son of the late William H. and Gabrielle (Forest) Paquin. A graduate of Assumption Prep 1953, Providence College 1957 and Boston College Law School 1964, he served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1959. He practiced law in Warwick since 1964. William served as president of the Parents’ Council at Bishop Hendricken High School, president of Warwick Country Club and was legal counsel for the Warwick Figure Skaters Association. He loved to play golf, laugh, sing and spend time with his family. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Michael Tierney Paquin; daughter Susan Kathleen Paquin and her husband Dr. Ronald J. Tyszkowski and beloved grandchildren Ava and Zane all of Warwick, RI. He was the brother of Dr. Louise A. Paquin of North Kingstown, RI and Gabrielle (Paquin) Leake of Gardiner, ME. The Paquin family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Miriam Hospital Oncology and the nurses of VNA of Care New England. (02/11/13) South Kingstown - Barbara B. Giarrusso, 85, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2013 at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. Born and raised in Newport, she also resided in Cranston and Wakefield. A graduate of Rogers High School in 1945 and the University of Rhode Island in 1949 she was a teacher and a guidance counselor for the Smithfield School Department for 25 years. After retirement she gave generously of her time and talents through the Order of the Eastern Star, (rising to the position of Worthy Grand Matron) as well as Daughters of the American Revolution, Indian lake Shores Fire District Council, South County Hospital and other organizations. She was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Wakefield and of the URI Alumni Association. She enjoyed knitting, reading, baking, walking and travel as well as spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her two daughters Phyllis of Cranston and Patricia of Wakefield; her son Paul and his wife Patricia of Wakefield; her brother Ralph Brierley Jr. of Solon, ME and her three granddaughters Carrie, Gabrielle and Laura. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 15th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension, 370 Main Street, Wakefield. Born in Coventry, RI, he was the husband of the late Lena ML (Beauchaine) Chabot and the son of the late Joseph C. and Ronalda (Lefebvre) Chabot. He was a Material Controller for General Dynamics, Electric Boat at Quonset Point, RI for ten years until retiring. He was also a backhoe operator for eighteen years for Coventry Water Department and worked for both the Soucy and Reynolds Construction Companies in Coventry, RI. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a life member of the VFW #9404 of Coventry, RI. Joseph is survived by two sons; Joseph and Louis Chabot, three daughters; Dianne Barry, Jeannine Johnson and Louisette Battey, a brother; Robert Chabot, three sisters; Estelle Grandchamp, Connie Lague and Pauline Turgeon, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter; Marie Chabot and a sister; Jeannette Lague. Cathy was a speech pathologist for the State of R.I. for many years. Because of her love of music, she studied flute, lap harp, piano and took voice lessons. She enjoyed quilting classes, watching television shows from the 60\'s and belonged to on line knitting club. She will be missed by all her friends. Irving Pierce Painting and Rose Hawthorne Lathrop Home. A Marian Medal recipient, he was an altar server, lector and collector at St. Anne Church for more than twenty years. He was the father of Raymond R. He was actively involved in coaching the Coventry Girl’s Softball League for many years having led the team to a National Title in 2001. Lance was also involved in the Tolman High School Class of 1973, reunion planning committee. Besides his loving wife, he leaves three daughters, Lori A. Smith and her husband, Daniel of Canterbury, CT, Kimberly A. Shaw of Manville and Dawn M. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Ann (Guatieri) Conklin and would have celebrated their 5oth anniversary this year. Bob was born in Providence a son of the late Charles and Emily (Mackavie) Conklin. He and his wife had lived in Pawtucket for several years until moving to Smithfield 20 years ago. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Smithfield Sportsman Club and also a member of the 100 Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. Besides his wife he leaves 3 daughters, Brenda Alfaia and her husband Steve, of Cumberland, Christine Bertrand and her husband Samuel of No. Attleboro and Dawn Johnson and her husband Kevin of Foster and 8 Grandchildren. (02/12/13) Lyons, Ann V. (Harrington), 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” Lyons. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Virginia Harrington. She is survived by three grandchildren: Wayne Ledoux of West Warwick, Sarah Ledoux of Cambridge, MA and Renee Ledoux of Washington D.C.; two great-grandchildren: Samantha Castaldi and Kalynn Sheldon both of West Warwick; great-great grandchildren: Kayliana and Jamari; three siblings: Becky, Maryann and Bucky Harrington; many cousins, nieces, nephews and her cat Snowy. She is predeceased by a daughter Donna Marie Ledoux. A Prayer Service will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Friday, February 15 at 10 AM followed with interment at St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket.
