(08/19/14) Mary R. (Martucci) Davide, 90, of West Warwick passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at West View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Davide. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Ernesto and Elvira (Petrarca) Martucci.
Mrs. Davide was a Senior Clerk for CCRI. A communicant of Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick, she served as a long time Eucharistic Minister and a member of the St. Ann Sodality. She was the former president of Msgr. DeAngelis Manor I Tenants Association.
She was the beloved mother of Raymond R. Davide and his wife Maureen of Coventry. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey Davide and his companion Kristy Scallon. She was the sister of the late Amalia Petrarca and John Martucci.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including John Martucci and his wife Patty with whom she was very close.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm.
