(05/16/14) Richard R. Lutrario, 81, of Warwick, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Joan E. (Martin) Lutrario. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfred Lutrario and Maria (Marocco) Lutrario.
Mr. Lutrario was employed as a Jewelry Tool Maker at Leesona Corp., Dieges & Clust, and Ferguson Perforated Steel until his retirement. He was a member of Saints Rose & Clement Parish, Treasurer of the Disabled American Veterans (Emily E. Baker Chapter 9), The American Legion (William Shields Post 43), and the Men of St. Joseph Group.
Besides his wife, he leaves his three loving children: Michael C. Lutrario and his wife Lia Shields of Hammonton, NJ, Donna M. Dragotakes and her husband Stephen of Medfield, MA, and Stephen A. Lutrario and his wife Jane of North Kingstown. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Alexander and his wife Emma, Nicholas, Amanda, Joshua and his wife Shalimar, Ryan, Daniel, Matthew and his wife Anna, Helen and her husband William, and great-grandfather of Viktoria. He was the brother of the late Albert Lutrario.
His Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 9:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Saints Rose & Clement Parish will be appreciated.
