(07/16/12) Lena (Lautieri) Palazzo, 91, formerly of East Avenue, passed away Sunday at West View Health Center. She was the wife of the late Paul Palazzo. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Clarinda (Luminello) Lautieri.
Mrs. Palazzo was a Dietician for the Rhode Island Medical Center. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick, where she was a member of the St. Ann Sodality.
She was the beloved sister of Gilda Martinelli of Cranston, Gloria Franklin of West Warwick and the late Silvio and Guido Lautieri, Celia Mancini, Virginia Stasio, Concetta Parente and Dora Lombardi. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday
