Thelma E (Cullinen) Lynch - Cranston, RI

(01/19/13) Thelma E. (Cullinen) Lynch, of Western Promenade passed away Friday at the Village at Waterman Lake. She was the wife of Paul F. Lynch to whom she was married for 42 years. Born in Jersey City, NJ, a daughter of the late George and Agnes E. (Rooney) Cullinen, she had lived in Cranston for over 40 years. Mrs. Lynch was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and worked for Jersey Bell and New England Bell for many years. She was the secretary at St. Paul School C.C.D. in Cranston for 10 years before retiring in 1999. She enjoyed vacationing at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ and Key West, FL. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Paul F. Lynch, Jr. of Cranston; a daughter Jennifer E. Gallagher and her husband Frank of Warwick; two grandchildren Colin and Sean Gallagher. She was the sister of the late George Cullinen, Jr. and Helen Kostyk. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Edgewood at 10 AM. Calling Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Hope Alzheimer Center 25 Brayton Avenue Cranston, RI 02920 will be appreciated. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
