Wanda H (Olearczyk) Lemaire - Seekonk, MA

(01/19/13) Seekonk – Wanda H. (Olearczyk) Lemaire, 87, of Seekonk, formerly of Woodhaven Rd., Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was the beloved wife of retired Pawtucket Police Detective Lt. Francis G. Lemaire for 51 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Woytas) Olearczyk. Wanda worked as the Display Ad Supervisor at the Pawtucket Times for many years before retiring in 1993. She enjoyed shopping; watching movies and reading. Besides her loving husband, she leaves four children, Sheila J. (Lemaire) Crafford and her husband, Lee of Seekonk, MA, Harold L. Pompei of Revere, MA, Robert F. Pompei and his late wife Suzanne of Norton, MA and John W. Pompei and his wife, Joyce of Norton, MA; a sister, Genevieve (Jean) Moroni of Johnston; a brother, John Olearczyk of Cranston; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery. VISITATION will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. Wanda’s family wishes to acknowledge with deep gratitude; Dr. Witherby, Virginia and the nurses and staff of the Memorial Hospital of RI Cancer Center; Dr. Laubach of the Dana Farber Institute; Martha and the nurses and staff of the Oak Hill Nursing & Rehab Center for their care and compassion.
