(12/23/12) Zanecchia, Alice B. (Boulester), 86, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012. She leaves her husband of 48 years, Alexander R. Zanecchia of North Kingstown. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Warren M. and Phoebe A. (Babbitt) Boulester.
Mrs. Zanecchia was a bookkeeper for The Industrial National Bank for many years. She was a member of the RI Mineral Hunters, Inc., Eastern Federation, North Kingstown Senior Association, URI Master Gardeners (Hall of Famer), and The Ladies Auxiliary “Honeybee” for the Navy Seabee Veterans.
Besides her devoted husband, she is survived by her loving niece Martha L Fisher of Coventry and her nephew Bruce W. Boulester of Mankato, MN, many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, her step daughter Linda Smith and husband, Neil Smith, of The Woodlands, TX, two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Warren B. Boulester.
Callings hours will be at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Friday, December 28 from 9-10 AM followed with a committal service at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
