(07/24/12) Deolinda H. (Amaral) DeCosta, 66, of Fall River, passed away July 23, 2012 at MA General Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of James DeCosta and the daughter of the late Manuel & Deolinda (Rego) Amaral. Prior to retirement, she worked as a Nurses Aide at Clifton Rehab. & Nursing Center.
Besides her loving husband of 44 years, she is survived by her daughters: Sandra DeCosta of Fall River & Linda Ann Crowley of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren: Patricia Tavares, Cheryl & Jeremy Cowen; great grandchildren: Adriannah, Kaleb, Zoe; siblings: Marion Crowley of Somerset, Sheila Torren of FL, & Manuel Amaral Jr. of Fall River; many nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Machado.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours THURSDAY 5-8 P.M.
