SALVATO, ROSE (Marcotrigiano) 96 of Narragansett and North Providence, formerly of Pontiac Ave. Cranston, passed away July 20, 2012 at the home of her daughter in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Salvato Sr. Born in East Providence a daughter of the late Alfonso and Carmella (Zaccardo) Marcotrigiano. She is survived by two sons Thomas Salvato Sr. and his wife Linda of Johnston, and Anthony Salvato Jr. and his girlfriend Kathy Anglin of North Stonington Ct. Two daughters Shirley Arena and her husband Robert of North Providence and Rosemarie G. Ferolito and her husband James P. of Narragansett. Three sisters Mildred DeSanto of Warwick, Anna Corsa of Cranston and Jennie George of North Providence. 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Gaetano Marcotrigiano, Phyllis Schiavulli, Dorothy DelToro, Mary Sheldon and Rubina Ferri.
Her funeral is Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from \'\'WOODLAWN\'\' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Edward\'s Church. Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann\'s Cemetery. VISITATION Monday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Edward\'s Church Food & Wellness Center, Providence or Beacon Hospice of East Providence.
