(09/21/15) Thibodeau, Sharon L., 72, of Westerly passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Westerly Hospital, Westerly, RI. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice May (Legg) Hunold.
Sharon was employed most recently with Volusia County Transit in Daytona Beach, FL and RIPTA as a bus operator. She resided in Daytona, FL for 25 years before moving back to Rhode Island.
She is survived by her devoted friend Dianne M. Butler of Westerly, RI; two children: Daniel Thibodeau of CA and Julie Smith of Palm Coast, FL; five grandchildren: Jacob, John Claude and Daniel Thibodeau of CA, Ashley DiFormato of Palm Coast, FL and Britney Horrerra of Montgomery, AL; two great grandchildren: Mya N. Horrerra and Marlee Horrerra two sisters: Carol Hughes of Port Orange, FL and Deborah Reilly of S. Daytona, FL.
Visitation will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home and Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick from 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM followed with a Catholic Prayer Service on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 5:30 PM. Flowers are kindly omitted. Remembrances may be shared at carpenterjenks.com.
