(07/09/15) John T. Hickey, 68, of Summit Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at RI Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Dover, NH, he was the husband of Jean N. (Catone) Hickey. They were married for thirty-four years. He was the son of the late John S. and Eleanor Hickey.
John was a supervisor at Electric Boat at Quonsett Point for twenty-nine years until retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters; Lisa J. Langlais and her husband Albert, Jessica Hickey and Judith Hickey, a son; Timothy Hickey and three grandchildren; Sarah, Kyle and Adrian. He was predeceased by a brother; Gerard Hickey.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be prior from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
