(05/14/15) Geffrey Langlais, 84, of Coventry, RI passed away at home on Thursday, May 14th. Born in Coventry on May 9, 1931, he was the son of the late Robert and Courana (Hebert) Langlais.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Dolores (Lariviere) Langlais. He was happy to spend his birthday last week with his family of five grandchildren: Irene, Paul, John, Dennis and Jim; as well as two daughter-in-laws: Andrea and Kim; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of Donald Langlais and the late Reginald Langlais.
Geffrey spent his whole life in Pawtuxet Valley, employed by Victor Electric Wire and Cable Company for 40 years. He served in the military in the 1950’s and was committed to his faith and family.
His funeral will be held on Monday, May 18th at 9 AM from the PRATA-GALLOGLY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence St., West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday, May 17th from 4 PM – 7 PM. Burial in RI Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
