(03/12/15) Woonsocket – Eileen D. Rogan, 89, of St. Joseph Street, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Trinity Health Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late James H. Rogan.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Rudy Fournier and Esther (Gallant) Heon, she had lived most of her life in Seekonk and Norton, Massachusetts.
Mrs. Rogan had worked for many years as a housekeeper at Wheaton College, Norton. Alongside her husband, she was an active member for many years of the V.F.W. Post #8049, Norton, where had served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Fuller, and her husband Richard, of Sangerville, Maine, Christine Foster, and her husband Alan, of Pensacola, Florida, and Sandra Beach, and her husband David, of Woonsocket; one son, James Rogan of Attleboro, Massachusetts; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arnold Heon and Anna Smith; and the mother-in-law of the late Deborah Rogan.
Her funeral will be celebrated Monday, March 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service on Monday from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
