(03/11/15) Woonsocket – Nikolay A. Kandelaki, 23, of Sweet Avenue, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 9, 2015, home.
Born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, he was the beloved son of Alexander and Olga (Chesnokova) Kandelaki. At the age of one, he emigrated from Georgia with his family to the United States, and lived most of his life in North Providence and West Warwick before moving to Woonsocket.
Mr. Kandelaki worked in the warehouse of Garelick Farms. He loved playing his guitar, and was passionate about playing computer games.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Alexandra Kandelaki of West Warwick; two brothers, Zachary Kandelaki of Westfield, Massachusetts, and David Kandelaki of Johnston; his maternal grandfather, Ivan Chesnokova; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will take place Friday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
