(03/09/15) Melvin C. \"Joe\" Angilly, Jr., 72, of Warwick passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sandra P. (Clesas), R.N. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Melvin C. Angilly, Sr. and Frances J. (Souza) Angilly.
Mr. Angilly was a Sales Associate for Home Depot in South Attleboro, MA for 20 years and was previously a Police Officer. He served as a Sergeant in The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was the loving father of Peter S. Angilly (W.F.D.) and his wife Linda of Cranston, David J. Angilly (W.F.D.) and his wife Peggy of Marblehead, MA and Kristen P. Polseno and her husband Frederick of Scituate. Cherished grandfather of Scott, Jason, Ryan and Mia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
