(02/14/15) Mildred V. (Fillmore) Carlson, 102, formerly of Forest Avenue, Cranston passed away onFriday, February 13, 2015 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Carlson. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. and Ellen A. (McCann) Fillmore.
She was the beloved mother of Marilyn J. Applin and her husband Albert of Daphne, AL and Phyllis A. Gill and her husband Charles of Warwick. Loving grandmother of Bruce M. Applin, Chad E. Applin and Lori J. Lightcap. Cherished great grandmother of five. She was the sister of the late Phyllis Walker, Rita M. Vaughn and Muriel R. McCormick.
Her funeral and burial will be private. Gifts in her memory to The American Heart Assn., 1 State St., Suite 200, Providence, RI 02908 would be appreciated.
