(02/11/15) Briggs, Dolores R. (Lenzzo), 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Linn Health Care in East Providence. Born in New London, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Havens) Lenzzo.
Dolores held various jobs throughout her life, but her biggest role was to be a loving and caring wife and mother. She loved her family dearly and will be remembered by her enjoyment of family gatherings, great cooking, gardening and her candiness of speaking her mind.
She is survived by five children: Harry A. Briggs (Elaine) of North Attleboro, MA, Gail A. Briggs of Pawtucket, Karen A. Dooley (Tom) of Pawtucket, Thomas W. Briggs (Marie) of Warwick and Scott A. Briggs of Warwick; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
All services will be private at the request of the family.
