(02/13/15) Fuquay-Varina - Kenneth Earle Marcotte, age 96, died on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. He was the son of the late William and Florence (Sprague) Marcotte.
Kenneth worked for Crystal Cleaners of Coventry, RI for twenty-five years. He was a WWII D-Day Veteran in the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Karsmarski and husband, Richard, Bonnie Moore, and Beverly Lamelin; a former wife; Myrtle (Marcotte) Bell, grandchildren, Tracie Johnson, Courtney Gile, Kimberly Jolly, Katie Shook, Kayle Weaver; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Lily, Tessa, Michael, Harper, Hunter, Landon, Ashlynn, Ethan, Julia, Nora; and many nieces and nephews.
He will greatly be missed by his family and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI followed by US Military Honors. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will be private.
