(02/13/15) Cumberland – Henry W. Aldrich, 88, of Cumberland died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Norma L. (Woodward) Aldrich.
Born in Pittsburg, NH, a son of the late Henry W. and Junie (Scott) Aldrich, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 55 years.
Mr. Aldrich was a salesman for Duro-Test Lighting for over 30 years before retiring. He was an avid ham radio operator and a member of Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, Cumberland.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters and their husbands, Carol A. Mayer and her husband, Scott, and Chesley J. Chmura and her husband, Kevin, all of Cumberland; and five beloved grandchildren; and two beloved great granddaughters.
His Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 16 at 11 A.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. His burial, with military honors, will be private in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
