(01/30/15) HART, Alverda G., 97, of North Scituate, passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 27, 2015.
He was the husband of Adele E. (Perry) Hart. Born in Scituate, he was the son of the late Edwin A. and Lucy C. (Colvin) Hart and brother of the late Thelma Lussier.
Mr. Hart was a supervisor at American Hoechst Chemical in Coventry for many years before retiring in 1980.
Besides his wife of 73 years, he is survived by a son, Leslie J. Hart of Scituate; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David A. Hart and Brian W. Hart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 from 12 noon - 1:00 pm followed by a service at 1:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street Street, West Warwick.
