(12/13/14) Leo H. Quinn, 79, of Warwick died on Dec. 11, 2014 at Kent County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Wagenbrenner) Quinn.
Born in Pawtucket on Dec. 16, 1934, Leo was a son of the late Leo A. and Ann (Gobiele) Quinn. He was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School and Bryant College.
Leeo was employed as an Insurance Executive for Travelers Insurance Company for thirty years, retiring in 1997. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Leo was an avid runner, golfer and sports fan. Leo will also be remembered as an advocate for the disabled.
In addition to his beloved wife; Leo is survived by his children: Keith Quinn of Cooperstown, FL and Linda Themuda of Burrillville, RI; a step-son: Jonathan Mitchell of Cedar Park, TX; a brother: Joseph Quinn of St. Augustine, FL; a sister: Judith Anderson of Attleboro; four grandchildren: Christin, Hope, Eric and Zachary; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at 9 AM in St. Clement Church, 111 Long St., Warwick. Interment with military honors will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
