Warwick- DeGuilio, Samuel C. Jr., 88, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. He was the proud husband of Grace (Kogian) Deguilio. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Samuel C. and Antonetta (Tella) DiGuilio.
Sam was employed by Bell Findings as a tool maker. He was a Masonic member of Adelphoi Lodge # 33 F. & A.M and the Rhode Island Shriners and enjoyed his white wine.
He is survived by three children: Deborah Broz of Warwick and companion John A. Landry, Janet Deguilio and her companion Kenneth Moffitt of Warwick and Richard DeGuilio and his wife Maryjane of Warwick; four grandchildren: Jared Broz (Brooke), Justin Broz (Meghan), Richard DeGuilio and Kristina DeRorcher and three great-grandchildren: Alexia DeRorcher, Hannah Santos and Nola Broz.
A Prayer Service will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Saturday, December 13 at 11 AM followed with interment and Masonic service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston. Calling hours will be from 9-11 AM prior to the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Shriners Hospitals For Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
