(12/02/14) John T. O\'Leary , 87, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johnston, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Lucey) O\'Leary.
He was the husband of the late Sophie (Castaldi) O\'Leary.
He was the beloved father of John J. O\'Leary of Vernon, CT, Paul D. O\'Leary of Hope, Marie D. Talbot of Coventry, and Susan A. O\'Leary of Exeter. He was the brother of Margaret \'Peggy\' Jackson, of Cumberland, and the late Barbara Grenon, James, and Donald O\'Leary. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Kyle Talbot and Benjamin and Isabella O\'Leary and Alison Albanese.
Mr. O\'Leary was a Member of the Teamsters Union Local 251 and was employed by McLean Trucking Co. until his retirement.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
