(09/05/12) Eleanora J. (Cipolla) LaFazia, 86, of Warwick passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Frank R. LaFazia. Born in the East Natick section of Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Ernestine (Petrarca) Cipolla.
Mrs. LaFazia was the owner and operator of The Diet Center of Rhode Island.
She was the beloved mother of Ralph R. LaFazia and his wife Angela of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Frank W. LaFazia of West Warwick and Elena A. Whitby of Stuart, FL. Loving grandmother of four. She was the sister of the late Lisa Ferretti and John Cipolla.
The LaFazia Family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of Kent County Hospital, the Staff of Brentwood Nursing Home, Dr. John Lowney, Dr. Joseph Lowney, Dr. Thomas Raimondo and Dr. Richard Leach for their exceptional care.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-7 pm.
