She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Rua; the sister of Thomas Rua of New Bedford, Catherine Ricci of Tiverton and the late Phoebe Rocha, Mary Thorpe, Hilda Aguiar, Dennis Rua and Manuel Rua and also leaves many nieces and nephews.
