(10/29/14) North Providence – Henry G. Batalon, 80, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita I. (Plante) Batalon. Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Henry J. and Antoinette L. (Martin) Batalon, he resided in North Providence most of his life. Henry was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was an electroplater at Speidel, Providence over forty years until retiring, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bouffard Council. He leaves a daughter, Irene Batalon of North Providence; a son, Robert Batalon and his wife, Michele and a grandson, Brian Batalon all of Cranston. VISITATION will begin Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.
