(10/08/14) Paul G. DeBalsi, 53, of Cranston passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie S. (D’Ambrosca) DeBalsi. Born in Providence, he was a devoted son of Dr. Anthony J. DeBalsi and Mary Anne L. (Lach) DeBalsi of Cranton.
Paul was the president of DeBalsi Tree and Landscaping, Inc. He was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School, class of 1979 and Providence College, class of 1983. He served as president of the C.Y.O. at Immaculate Conception and was a member of Alpine Country Club.
He was respected and well loved by all who knew him.
He was the loving father of Matthew P. DeBalsi, Justin R. DeBalsi and Paul D. DeBalsi, all of Cranston. Cherished brother of Anthony J. DeBalsi, Jr. of West Warwick, David J. DeBalsi of Blue Hill, Maine, Thomas A. DeBalsi of Canaan, New Hampshire and Mary Ann Palmer of Cranston.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm.
