(08/25/14) Bristol – William J. Fox, 73, of Poppasquash Road died Friday, August 22, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the fiancé of Caroline Molloy-Calia.
Born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Joseph L. and Emily N. (Snow) Fox, he had lived in Bristol for over 20 years. Besides his fiancée, he is survived by two sisters, Lois A. Norton of Attleboro, MA and Carol F. Cavedon of Cumberland; fourteen nieces and nephews; twenty-six grandnieces and grandnephews; and seven great grandnieces and great grandnephews. He was the brother of the late Shirley S. Fox, Judy Mackey and Beverly Ruth Berry.
He started his career at Union Wadding Company, Pawtucket in 1979 as Regional Manager and retired in 2004 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing after a 25 year career.
He was a graduate of Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
He served in the United States Navy during peacetime.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Bristol.
His Memorial Service will be held FRIDAY, AUGUST 29 at 11 A.M. in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 399 Hope Street, Bristol. His burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
