(08/14/14) Squillante, Micheline A. (Sinquin), 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center in Providence. She was born to the late Coretin and Albertine (Bersavie) Sinquin in Versailles, France March 23, 1928. She married the late Andrew Squillante in 1946 and came to the U.S. in 1947 where she gracefully adapted to her new life by learning how to speak, read and write in English and becoming fluent in two languages.
Micheline was a kind and gentle woman who loved her family and simple pleasures; a cup of black coffee, chocolate with a good French Baguette, the warmth of Florida and animals. She is survived by three children: Mathew Squillante of Charlestown, RI, Danny Squillante of Johnston, RI and Michele Paglione of North Kingstown, RI; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother Pierre Sinquin of France.
