Felix Sarcione, D.D.S. - Cranston, RI

(07/19/14) SARCIONE, FELIX, D.D.S., 92, formerly of Warwick and Cranston passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Friday July 18, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Dr. Sarcione was born in Providence, a son of the late Vincenzo and Vincenza ( Rapa) Sarcione. He was the husband of the late Carmel (Scialo) Sarcione and the late Grace (Gebhart) Sarcione. Dr. Sarcione was a graduate of Providence College, class of 1943 and a graduate of Georgetown Dental School, class of 1950. He practiced dentistry in Providence from 1950-1980. He was a Past President of the Providence District Dental Society, a Past President of the Rhode Island Dental Association and a Life Member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Sarcione served as a medical corpsman in the US Army during WWII. Dr. Sarcione is survived by his son, Philip Sarcione of New Hampshire, his daughter Susan Zimmerman of Pennsylvania and step-sons Vincent and Paul Gebhart of Cranston and Rick Gebhart of East Greenwich. He was the beloved grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of four. He was the brother of Gloria Sciolto and the late Alexander V. Sarcione, Esq. His funeral is Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from \"WOODLAWN\" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark\'s Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
