(05/14/14) John Paul Bibas, 40, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Pawtucket, he was the beloved son of Shirley A. (John) Loiselle of Cranston and the late Jean-Paul Bibas and the caring step-son of Roy T. Loiselle. Loving brother of Jennifer L. Sherillo and her husband Stephen of Riverside. Caring uncle of Andrew J. Sherillo.
John Paul was a Claims Adjuster for Amica Insurance for 6 1/2 years until his retirement due to illness. He was a graduate of Seekonk High School, class of 1991, where he served as a Drum Major from 1990-91. He received his Associate Degree in Business/Law Enforcement from CCRI in 1994 and his Bachelor Degree of Justice with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Rhode Island College in 1997. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 1 in Seekonk at which he served as Assistant Scout Master for 14 years.
John Paul always felt a need to help the less fortunate and homeless.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8 pm.
