(08/07/12) Pawtucket – Dorothy D. (Fortin) Caron, 91, of Somerset and formerly of Daggett Ave., Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice L. Caron, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Berthe R. (L’Heureux) Fortin, she was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket until moving to Somerset in 2008. Dorothy was a member of the Shrovers. She leaves two daughters, Dorothy Ann Caron of Cranston and Pauline M. Tuemmler of Valley Forge, PA; a son, Robert M. Caron of Somerset; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Maurice L. Caron, Jr., Esq. and the sister of the late Berthe Richer, Lawrence Wallace and Claire Gaudet. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
