(08/01/12) PHILLIPS, GORDON JAMES, 65, an upholsterer and owner of Gordon\'s Upholstery passed away Monday July 30, 2012 at home in Cranston. Born in Providence a son of the late Edward and Lillian (Alexander) Phillips. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Burke) Phillips. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Karen Carreiro and her husband Paul, grandchildren Kristifer James , Elliott Gordon , Benjamin Paul and his loyal devoted pet Dixieland.
