(12/16/12) HACKMAN, Mary A. (Gallogly), 94, of Warwick and Wolfeboro, NH, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich.
She was the wife of the late Edmund T. Hackman, M.D. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Lawrence P. and Rosellen (Mimnaugh) Gallogly.
Mrs. Hackman was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy, communicant of St. Timothy Church, a volunteer and member of the Woman’s Auxiliary at Kent Hospital and a former member of the Warwick Country Club and Bald Peak Colony Club of Melvin Village, NH. Her greatest enjoyments were spending time with family, traveling and antiquing.
She is survived by four sons, Edmund T. Hackman, Jr., O.D. and Kevin A. Hackman, Esq., both of Warwick, Denis J. Hackman of Wolfeboro, NH and Howard J. Hackman of Coastal, NH; three daughters, Dona M. Mullen of Providence, Mary Ellen Olson of Hull, MA and H. Holly Hackman, M.D., M.P.H., of Providence; a sister, Sister Rosellen Gallogly, RSM of New Bedford, MA; a brother, Raymond J. Gallogly of Warwick, twelve grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rosella A. McLaughlin, Hon. Edward P. Gallogly, Chief Justice RI Family Court, Lawrence P., William J., Thomas F. and Vincent P. Gallogly.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., (at 1330 Main St.) West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery.
