(12/15/12) Pawtucket – Eleanor M. (Roach) Lapierre, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Lapierre. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Kelly) Roach. Eleanor was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan as well as an avid golfer at Stone-E-Lea Golf Course, Attleboro. She leaves her children, Lawrence R. Lapierre and his wife, Donna of Attleboro and Kathleen M. Sokolik and her husband, Don of Weston, FL; three grandchildren, Michelle Mooza, Jonathan Sokolik and Jared Hamm and a great-grandson, Nicholas Sokolik. She was the sister of the late Ernest, Louis and Peggy. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O.
