(12/11/12) Phelps, Carol A. (Baglini), 67, passed at home away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Married for 46 years; she was the wife of Charles S. Phelps Jr. of Richmond. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Olinto C. “Tony” of Coventry and the late Mary M. (Colgan) Baglini.
She previously lived in North Providence for 21 years and West Warwick for 40 years before moving to Richmond in 2007. She was a graduate of North Providence High School, Class of 1963. She worked as a customer service representative for several companies retiring from Centrex Distributors in 2001.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Thomas E. Phelps of Derry, NH; two daughters: Stacy L. Wotherspoon of Richmond, with whom she lived with and Muriel A. Kilmartin of Winter Garden, FL and ten grandchildren:
Kevin, Reilly, Sean, Brine, Rogan, Cooper, Taylor, Devin, Shaylee, Maddox; two brothers Robert and John Baglini. She was the sister of the late Thomas E. Baglini.
Funeral from Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Monday, December 17 at 9 AM followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church (Crompton) 70 Church Street, West Warwick at 10 AM. Interment will be at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church Building Fund/Wish List.
