(11/16/12) Pawtucket – Marilyn S. (Salisbury) Cartwright, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Edward Cartwright. Born in Bath, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Elden, Sr. and Delia (Whitney) Salisbury. Marilyn worked as a CNA at the Oak Hill Nursing Home, Pawtucket and Epoch Senior Living, Providence for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother, devoted to her family. Besides her husband she leaves her sons, David E. Lincoln and his wife, Robin in Maine and John C. Lincoln and his wife, Jennie in Colorado, Fredrick Harkins, Jeffrey Harkins and the late James R. Lincoln; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and she was the sister of Elden Salisbury, Jr. and Darlene Morin both in Maine and the late Carleton and Malcolm Salisbury. Services will be Monday at Noon at the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.
