Justin "Justincredible" M Clare - Coventry, RI

(11/10/12) Coventry – Justin M. “Justincredible” Clare, 25, of Fieldstone Drive, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 28 in Bourne, MA. Born in Providence he was a beloved son of David P. and Gayle L. (Jameson) Clare of Coventry. Justin graduated from Coventry High School in 2005 and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management from Rhode Island College in 2011. Throughout his education he was always an honors student. While in middle school he received the 2000-2001 “Most Likely to Help Others” award from the Firestorm Team. Justin’s desire to help others was displayed in many ways, especially by being a frequent blood donor and when he ran a St. Mary Homeless Child fundraiser. Justin loved to work on cars. He received many awards while in high school including those during the Ford Student Auto Skills Competition. He was a Manager in the Falmouth, (MA) office of Healthcare Services Group of Vernon, CT. A devout Irish Catholic he was a communicant of SS. John & Paul Church where he made his confirmation in 2002 with his grandmother Betty as his sponsor. Justin also taught CCD classes in his parish and had the privilege of teaching his “beloved sister” Micaela. He was a history buff, always reading whatever he could get his hands on and a sports fanatic. He played baseball in Coventry Little League and in Coventry Babe Ruth League, basketball for several years in the Coventry Basketball Association league and football for the Coventry Rams. Justin loved to play golf and he was very proud to be a member of the Plymouth (MA) Country Club. He spoke of his most memorable vacations being those spent with his family in Ocean City, MD. Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Nathan Clare, who Justin called “Brother Clare”, and his sister Micaela Clare both of Coventry; his brother Patrick Clare-O’Brien, who Justin admired greatly, of Somerville, MA; his fiancé Colleen Walker of Onset, MA and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents: David and Kathleen (McNamara) Clare of Riverside, RI, Elizabeth “Betty” (McDermott) Jameson Litz, Leonard A. Jameson Sr. and by his step grandfather Courtney R. Litz all from Washington, D.C. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 14 in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry at 11:30. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
