(10/30/12) Cumberland – Leo Patrick Tracey, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Rosemary (Glancy) Tracey for 51 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Leo F. and Ann “Vonnie” (Galvin) Tracey, he resided in Cumberland since 1963. Pat was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas Council 1472, Cumberland. He was the Founder of the “We Can” Charitable Program, helping the needy throughout RI over many years. Pat enjoyed world travel and had a great sense of humor. Besides his beloved wife, he leaves three children, Colleen Simmons and her husband, David of Cumberland, Sharon Harrington and her husband, Douglas of Seekonk and Keith Tracey of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Haley and Shannon Harrington and Shane and Collin Simmons; five brothers, Michael, Dennis, Richard, Terrence and Kevin Tracey; four sisters, Anne Marie Donnelly, Eileen Bodick, Susan Conley and Kathleen DiRaimo and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stephen and Gary Tracey. His funeral will be held Friday at 7:45 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 285 Broad St., Cumberland. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Cumberland. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., P.O.
