(10/28/12) Robert E. “Bob” Dean, 56, of Cowesset Avenue, West Warwick, passed peacefully Saturday morning, Oct. 27, 2012 at home.
Born in Warwick, beloved son of Josephine V. (Pankowicz) Dean and the late Edward G. Dean, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.
Bob was a quahog fisherman in Narragansett Bay, enjoyed working on his boat and was a great storyteller.
Besides his mother he leaves a son, Robert E. Dean-Tosoni of West Warwick; two daughters, Crystal Reda of Chicago, IL and Trisha Neuman of West Warwick; four sisters, Carol Caruolo of Thompson, CT, Patricia Dean and Janice Peixinho both of West Warwick and Cathie Dean-Cutlip of Coventry; three brothers, Bruce Dean and Steven Dean both of West Warwick and Peter Dean of East Greenwich and twin grandsons. He was the brother of the late Edward G. Dean, Jr., Jeffrey Dean and Christopher Dean.
His funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
