Nancy L (Carlone) Enos - Warwick, RI

(09/11/15) Nancy Louise (Carlone) Enos, 86, while surrounded by her family passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick, RI. She is predeceased by her husband Ernest J. Enos and they were married for 60 years at the time of his passing in April of 2011. She was born in Providence, RI to the late Vincent and Nancy (Striano) Carlone. Mrs. Enos grew up during the depression era, needless to say, had joined the work force at a young age as a seamstress and as many who grew up in her generation, valued everything she owned and there was little that was considered disposable. Her focus was raising her two sons alongside her husband and caring for the house. Besides her \"career\" at home and seamstress, she later became a Certified Nursing Assistant mainly with Kent County VNA, but also worked at Greenwood Nursing Home and private care. She was a simple person, with what she considered a simple life; however she had an invaluable presence working as a CNA. Not only did her patients love her, but her colleagues did as well. she will be dearly missed. She is survived by two sons: Scott E. Enos (and wife Maribeth) and Kent J. Enos (and wife Trish) both of Warwick, RI; twelve grandchildren: Chris, Jackie and Brendan; Hannah, Laura, Josiah and Benjamin; Mason, Syesha, Nevaeh, Zaisha and Symia; five great-Grandchildren: Ayden, Anthony, Ava, Jade and Jasmine. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and her brother-in-law Joseph Enos and sister-in-law Eva LaBelle. She is predeceased by her brothers John and Vincent Carlone and her sisters Mary Pezzilo, Rose Pate and Angelica Dionis. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 15 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI. Her funeral service will take place at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, 100 Exeter Road, Exeter, RI on Wednesday, September 16 at 9:30 AM followed with interment the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Should friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to Brentwood Nursing Home Activities Fund, 4000 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886.
