(08/11/15) Lincoln – William R. Parkinson, 75, of Lincoln died peacefully Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Lynn R. (Bellemer) Parkinson.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William L. and Sarah (Brown) Parkinson, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 45 years.
Mr. Parkinson worked as an inside electrical salesman for Graybar, Providence before retiring in 2004.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was an active member of the Lincoln Senior Center, Lincoln.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lori Laston and Keri Parkinson, both of Lincoln; one son, Kevin Parkinson of Cranston; two sisters, Shirley Kaczmarek of Deerfield Beach, FL and Joan Reid of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Janice Harris.
His funeral will be held Friday, August 14 at 10 A.M. in Wesley United Methodist Church, 55 Woodland Street, Lincoln. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
