(08/10/15) Desmond C. Moran, 81, of Pawtucket passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Greenville Skilled Nursing Center. He was the beloved husband of Anne T. (Farnell) Moran. Born in Dublin, Ireland, he was a son of the late Patrick Francis and Elizabeth Josephine (Clancy) Moran.
Mr. Moran was a Trainer and Driver of Standard Bred Horses from 1964 until 1985.
He was the loving father of Paul G. Moran of Foster and Carmelia E. Moran of Pawtucket. Cherished grandfather of three. Caring brother of Sean Moran of Saratoga Springs, NY, Bernadette Scuderi of Florida, Helen Jablonski of Danvers, MA, Elizabeth Carollo of Florida and the late Rosaleen C. Moran.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
