(07/22/15) Donna L. (Nowak) Flynn, 79, of Pawtucket passed away on Wednesday, July 22nd at The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence. She was the beloved wife of Vincent A. Flynn, Jr. for 60 years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Minior) Nowak.
Mrs. Flynn worked along with her husband at Flynn Auto Sales and Hilltop Motors. She was a graduate of Central Falls High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling especially to Newfound Lake in New Hampshire and Narragansett.
She was the loving mother of Kathleen M. McIlmail and her husband William of Barrington, Pamela V. Thayer and her husband Michael of Attleboro, MA and Vincent A. Flynn, III and his partner Laurissa Burns of Rumford. Cherished grandmother of Alexander Thayer and Julie Thayer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 am in The Chapel of The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 pm in The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated. Arrangements by THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
