(07/12/15) LORANGER, Robert A., Sr., 75, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Gertrude A. (Brunelle) Loranger; they had been married for 54 years. Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Orvilia and Florence (Conningford) Loranger and brother of the late Lucille Gagnon.
Besides his wife he leaves four children and their spouses, Robert Jr. (Laura), Catherine (Paul), Sandra (Manny), John (Gina) and nine grandchildren, Robert III, Matthew, Brendan, Stephen, Kathryn (Keirnan), Cameron, Austin, Christina, and youngest Maia who held the key to his heart.
Mr. Loranger was employed for over 40 years as an Autobody Technician for Norwood Motor Group before retiring and working as a brilliant craftsman. He took pride in all jobs and projects, a true \"Jack of all trades\'\' talent. He had a never-ending passion for working. He also enjoyed spending time with family, sharing hilarious stories, his wisdom and knowledge of teaching us all that he knew. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid Patriots fan. He will be greatly missed more than words could ever express.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10 am in SS. John and James Parish of St. John the Baptist Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
