(06/16/15) Blanche L. Patalano, 81, of Main Street, Coventry, RI, formerly of Prospect Hill Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Riverview Health Community, in Coventry, RI. Born in West Warwick, she was married to the late Mario Patalano. She was the daughter of the late Simon E. and Lillian (Ducharme) Calci.
Blanche worked for Victor Electric for many years until her retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and nana to her family.
She is survived by three sons; Steven M. Patalano and his wife Susan, Gary M. Patalano and his fiancée Dulce Langhan, and Mark V. Patalano, a daughter; Sandra M. Amato and her husband Eric, six brothers; Sam Calci, Alfred Calci, William Calci, Albert Calci, Charles Calci, and Edward Calci, ten sisters; Jennie Plouffe, Florence LaRoche, Cecile Nobre, Yvonne Tourgee, Lillian Adesso, Dorothy Senerchia, Dolores Silva, Carol Brodeur, Diane Terilli, and Leona Calci, six grandchildren; Gary, Ryan, Derek and Corey Patalano, Jennie McLeod and Erin Lopes, and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her late brother; Joseph Calci.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI 02893. Interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.
