(10/06/12) Antonia Acevedo, 64, of Canal St., Fall River, formerly of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, died Friday, October 5, 2012. She was the mother of Sonia Talavera, Alison Acevedo and Madelyne Acevedo; the grandmother of Victor Santana, Jocelyn, Efrain, Sasha and Jose Montanez, Glendalee Rodriguez, Keila and Omar Lebron, Alex Alicea, Leisha Crespo, Andres and Linoshka Acevedo and the late Dennis Mendez; the great-grandmother of Jesus, Aubree, Ethan and Juliani Montanez, Jayden Freytes, Angel and Joangelis Espinosa, Xavier and Irvin Santana, Ashlyn and Alexis Alicea and the late Alex Alicea, Jr.; the sister of Luis, Gilberto, Nilda and Pedro Acevedo; and the daughter of the late Trinidad and Candida (Nieves) Acevedo. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
