(10/05/12) Richard R. Conti, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Greenwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Warwick. He was the husband of Cynthia “Cindy” A. (Marsocci) Conti of West Warwick. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Conti) Conte.
Mr. Conti was the bar manager at Valley Country Club in Warwick for many years leaving in 1996. He was a member of the US Army National Reserves and was an avid golfer.
Besides his wife Cindy, he is survived by three children: Richard Conti, Jr. of West Warwick, Bianca Conti of West Warwick and Lisa Conti-Ruest of Coventry; a brother Paul Conte and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four siblings: Fred Conti, Ralph Conte, Gloria Conte and William Conti.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at 12 Noon at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home and Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick followed with interment at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery in North Kingstown.
