(05/13/15) Cumberland – Patricia Sadler (Anderson) Gouin, 56, of Cumberland died Monday, May 11, 2015 at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Philip R. Gouin.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, a daughter of Cornelia (Powell) Anderson of Cumberland and the late Clint DeWitt Anderson, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 30 years.
Patricia was a school psychologist and clinical therapist, most recently working at Riverside Community Care, Upton, MA. She was a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and received her CAG from Rhode Island College.
She was a member of the Providence Zen Center, Cumberland.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Grace Powell Gouin and her fiancé, Gregory M. Casey of Asheville, NC; one son, Charles Allard Gouin of Manville; and two brothers, John Peyton Anderson of San Francisco, CA and William Gowling Anderson of Cumberland.
Her services will be held Saturday, May 16 at 2 P.M. at the Providence Zen Center, 99 Pound Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Friday 4-7 P.M.
